Christian Care Ministry is a community of believers committed to connecting and equipping Christians to share each other's everyday burdens through the sharing programs we offer.

Christian Care Ministry is committed to serving the Christian community with excellence and integrity, using the Bible alone as our foundation. In order to maintain these principles, all employees and members agree to and profess a "Statement of Faith."

A Year of Transition and Progress

This past fiscal year has been one of significant transition for Christian Care Ministry — a time of purposeful change and continued momentum as we continue on our the journey of operational excellence while serving our members. Leadership shifts have introduced fresh perspectives, but our core mission and commitment to our members remain steadfast. Our Lord is faithful, and our continued prayer is that He continue to lead, guide, and strengthen us, just as He has faithfully done for more than 31 years.

Through opportunities and challenges alike, our dedicated team has served the Medi-Share community with faith, resilience, and purpose. Trusting God’s guidance, we are laying the groundwork for a stronger future, implementing improvements to better serve our members and providers. Our goal is to remain a trusted, best-in-class health care sharing ministry rooted in faith, committed to prayer, applying industry best practices with discernment, and anchored in our “Members First” foundation.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on our responsibility to be faithful stewards of our Medi-Share members’ share dollars. This Annual Report for Fiscal Year 24 provides a comprehensive overview of our financial performance and key initiatives, offering insight into how Christian Care Ministry is managing resources and strengthening the Medi-Share program for the future.

“We have been blessed to have a caring organization like Medi-Share pray for us, give us hope, and help with our medical and spiritual needs as we journey through our life.”

-Ralf Z., Medi-Share member

“Working with my health coach, Lisa, has been a transformative experience. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have had such a supportive and insightful guide on my wellness journey. Through our sessions, I experienced a powerful shift in mindset, allowing me to see the bigger picture and develop a clear vision for my long-term health and well-being. This process not only improved my physical health but also enriched my overall sense of balance and fulfillment. The personalized strategies and encouragement helped me make meaningful changes that I can sustain for a lifetime. Thank you for helping me thrive!”

-Kim D., Medi-Share member

“I got online, researched it, spoke to a Medi-Share employee and thought, 'This is what I want because it also emphasizes health and following a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, exercising, and begetting bad habits like smoking and sedentary lifestyles.' I aligned with this philosophy even though it wasn’t insurance, it was better. So, we have been members for 14 years and love it."

-Dr. Deborah Harris, member of the Medi-Share Member Steering Committee

REPORT

Medi-Share Member Steering Committee

The Medi-Share Member Steering Committee plays an important role in our Medi-Share community. The Medi-Share members who make up this independent committee provide valuable insight and guidance to the Christian Care Ministry staff and the Board of Directors.

The Steering Committee met in person and virtually at our Melbourne, Florida headquarters for a new member orientation, as well as a deep-dive on all aspects of the Medi-Share program and guidelines. They spent three days learning from various departments, understanding our history and current journey, and preparing for their vital roles in serving their fellow members. Their responsibilities are significant, involving program updates, guideline changes, member appeals, and more. These volunteers also pray for discernment and wisdom to best address the needs of our Medi-Share community. We are grateful for their commitment and service to their fellow members.

The Power of Prayer

Prayers Offered in FY24

"Medi-Share is a such a blessing to my husband and me. When I had surgery, everything was shared as they state in their guidelines. There were no surprises! But the biggest blessing are the people who participate in Medi-Share to make it possible to have had my surgery. It’s also a blessing knowing that other people are praying for you. I can’t imagine any commercial insurance company praying for your needs. Thank you, Medi-Share, for helping to make our health needs affordable. This gives us much peace of mind."

Congressional & State Legislators & Executive Leaders
(Governors, Lt. Governors & Attorneys General)

In 2021, Christian Care Ministry initiated a heartfelt endeavor called Project K.E.E.P., aimed at offering prayers for elected officials. We also have had the privilege to meet with legislators and learn how prayer impacts their lives personally and in public service. Each month we send out a prayer calendar to our Medi-Share members, employees and those we have met along the way who unite in prayer with us. Each day we specifically pray by name individuals who are serving at the various levels of government. We also include a video that shares a legislator’s testimony on the importance of prayer and their prayer request for the month. We have interviewed over 34 legislators.

Since the launch of Project K.E.E.P., more than 3,426 elected representatives have been lifted up in prayer. This includes members of Congress, state legislators, Governors, Lt. Governors, and Attorneys General.

By praying for those in positions of authority, we hope to have a meaningful impact on our communities and alleviate the burdens carried by our leaders, fostering a spirit of positivity and support.

“As farmers and ranchers, we are self-employed and without insurance options. Medi-Share has been wonderful for us; from having our four kids to an emergency appendix surgery, we are so thankful for Medi-Share!”

-Makenzi W., Medi-Share member

“Whenever I reach out, I get a rep who is courteous, friendly, willing to help, and stays on the call until all my questions are answered. Each call ends with a prayer which is a unique but welcomed (and needed) offer. No other company does this but it's so refreshing and encouraging.”

Member Testimonial

*During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, Christian Care Ministry modified existing contracts with a financial services provider to enable greater oversight of member funds.  In doing so, this created an agency relationship for CCM which ensures assets contributed by members are contractually restricted solely for the purpose of the Medi-Share program.
